I just heard about an organization called Fractured Atlas, which is based in NYC that offers health-care, fiscal sponsorship, networking opportunities, and other benefits to artists. They have over 30,000 individual and organizational members nationwide. Membership starts at $75/year.
If you are in the NY area, I encourage you to attend their annual benefit show on Nov. 9th at the The Westside Loft (336 W. 37th St., NYC). Hors d’ouevres and drinks will be served.
